32-bar reel for 3 couples in a 4-couple set
|1-8||1st lady sets, casts off one place, dances a half figure of eight round 3rd couple (right shoulder to 3rd man) to finish in the centre facing down just below 2nd place.
1st man stands for two bars, sets on bars 3 and 4 then crosses the set and casts off to finish in the centre facing down just behind 1st lady.
2nd couple step up on bars 7 and 8.
|9-12||1st couple dance left hands across with 3rd lady and finish facing 2nd man with 1st lady in front of 1st man.|
|13-16||With 1st man following closely behind 1st lady, 1st couple dance half a diagonal reel of three with 2nd man and 3rd lady commencing by giving right shoulder to 2nd man.|
|17-20||1st couple dance right hands across with 3rd man and finish facing 2nd lady with 1st lady in front of 1st man.|
|21-24||With 1st man following closely behind 1st lady, 1st couple dance half a diagonal reel of three with 2nd lady and 3rd man commencing by giving left shoulder to 2nd lady. 1st lady finishes between 2nd couple (in 3rd place), pulling her left shoulder back to face up. 1st man finishes between 3rd couple (in 1st place) facing down. 3rd couple face down and 2nd couple face up at the end of bar 24.|
|25-28||Joining hands in lines of three across the set, all set then dropping hands and using two more setting steps, all pivot round on the spot pulling right shoulder back, 1st couple to face their partner and 2nd and 3rd couples to face clockwise round the set.|
|29-32||1st couple turn once and a quarter with the right hand to finish in 2nd place on opposite sides while 2nd and 3rd couples chase clockwise half way round the set.|
|Repeat having passed a couple but with 1st man starting and dancing the track previously danced by 1st lady.|
